Cable

TSC,
in conjunction with bright.net Ohio, can provide you with Cable
Modem access to the Internet
through your existing Cable TV lines. If you are an existing TSC
customer or live within a serviced area, you may be eligible for
this service. BrightLightning service requires the existence of TSC
Cable, a Pentium class PC and a network card. New residential customers receiving Cable Modem service from TSC will be receiving the Motorola SB5101. For information on this brand of modem, click here.
DSL

(Digital
Subscriber Line) A technology for bringing high-bandwidth
information to homes and
businesses over ordinary telephone lines. Digital subscriber lines
allow high-speed data transport over traditional twisted-pair copper
wires. In other words, DSL allows you to connect to bright.net OHIO
over a regular telephone line at speeds that are much faster than
those achieved using an analog modem or ISDN modem line. Bright.net

The three levels of DSL service are as follows: Personal DSL - Just right for every day residential users
and casual Internet surfers. If you currently use the Internet
for surfing, checking e-mail, chatting and gaming, then Personal
brightDSL is for you. Business DSL - Best for small to medium-sized offices where
multiple computers need to access the Internet. If you telecommute
and connect to your corporate network through some sort of VPN
connection, then Business brightDSL is for you. Enterprise DSL - Ideal for businesses that will be transmitting
and receiving large amounts of data. For medium to large-sized
businesses that need to have multiple computers connected to the
